About the Authors
Tracey Benson and Martin Drury have been travelling as a team since 2010. Based in Canberra, Together they have explored parts of Europe, SE Asia, Scandinavia and Turkey. They have also travelled extensively within Australia, even driving to Port Macquarie in 2012 to get married (with a Nick Cave song in the background). In 2013, Geokult Travel was created as a way of sharing our love of journeying, exploring new places and making new friends.
Tracey Benson (aka bytetime) is a writer, artist and researcher. She has travelled to North Africa, the USA, Europe, Scandinavia and parts of SE Asia. He has travelled to Papua New Guinea, SE Asia, the South Pacific including Samoa and diving in the Soloman Islands, trekked in Nepal, and sailed the Coral Sea. He also had the enviable role of being the cartographer for the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority (1989-1995).
