Today we had a great time, even though our feet were saying ‘no’ by the end of the day. We started out early and headed to the Musee d’Orsay, which was just fantastic. Impressionism, Postimpressionism, Symbolism, Art Nouveau are all well represented in this collection and plenty of famous works at that.  I was just a little bit naughty and caught some sneaky photos of works in the collection.

Afterwards, we walked over Pont Alexander III Bridge to wander up Champs Elysse, which is an adventure in itself.

On the way, we saw these lovely doors.

We found this groovy cafe on the Champs Elysees.

After that, we caught the metro to Trocedero, where we could see yet another view of the Eiffel Tower.

By this stage we were ready to head back to the apartment, our little home away from home.
