365 Places: Korčula
Day 8: Korčula, Croatia
We visited the island of Korčula in September 2013, when we did a 7 day boat trip that took us from Split to Dubrovnik and back again. It is located in the Adriatic Sea, in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County of Croatia.
Korčula is an incredibly beautiful and picturesque place, also laying claim to reputedly being the birthplace of Marco Polo. We loved the old city, which is full of museums and galleries.
Here are some images of the old city.
