Mehmet Ali’s Wunderkammer

Yesterday, our host Willemijn introduced us to Mehmet Ali – a local artist and antique trader. He has the most wonderful collection of old maps, bric a brac, kilims and furniture. I find his workshop a wunderkammer of Cappadocian history and culture. He is very kindly helping us by allowing some of his antique maps to be copied, which we will put on the blog once the copies are made.
